Patient Story

A young singer from Batroun arrived at KMC after months of progressive hoarseness that threatened her work. She had already seen several clinics without a clear diagnosis. At our ENT Division, video-laryngoscopy pinpointed a benign vocal fold cyst. She underwent a precise microlaryngoscopic procedure followed by structured voice therapy. Within weeks, her voice returned, fuller, stronger, and pain-free. She still jokes that KMC “saved both my vocal cords and my career.”

Common Questions

“Do you manage both simple and advanced ENT cases on site?”

Yes. From routine pediatric infections to thyroid surgery, airway reconstruction and complex sinus disease, our services are handled entirely within the department with access to radiology, anesthesia, oncology and rehabilitation as needed.

“How quickly can a new patient get diagnostic testing like hearing evaluation or endoscopy?”
Most diagnostic tests, including audiology assessments, nasal endoscopy and flexible laryngoscopy, can be performed during the same visit. When a more advanced study is required, such as CT imaging or balance testing, scheduling is usually arranged within a very short window so treatment isn’t delayed.
